Job Description
Position Summary:
The Pizza Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high quality pizzas and related items in a fast paced club environment. This role focuses on consistency, teamwork, and creating an enjoyable dining experience for members and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, stretch, and cook pizza dough using club standards and recipes.
- Execute pizzas and related menu items with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation.
- Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently, including wood fired, gas, or electric ovens as applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station at all times.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the culinary team and front of house to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and station setup and breakdown.
- Support menu changes, specials, and events as directed by kitchen leadership.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a pizza cook or line cook preferred.
- Basic knowledge of dough handling, fermentation, and baking techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule including, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.
